We all feel discouraged sometimes and we all want to be seen and loved for who we are.
Life does not always go where we expect it to – disappointments, losses and transitions do happen. As your therapist, I offer compassion and insight along with mindfulness and evidence-based approaches. Learn to manage stress, build self compassion and sit with your feelings (exhaustion, sadness, anxiety, anger, self-doubt, shame and more) without judgment.
We will also tap into your inner wisdom so you can begin to forge a new path forward. This journey can include laughter, joy and feeling at home in who you are despite the challenges you are facing. I am honored to work with you and/or your partner or family and am committed to assisting you.
To get started, reach out to me by text, call or email to schedule your complimentary initial phone consultation. This way, we can talk briefly about what’s happening and make sure I am the right person for you to meet with. If it seems someone else or a different location would be best I can make referrals for you to connect with other therapists or resources.
When we meet in person for our first session we’ll talk about what brings you in and what’s happening in your life. Over the first two or three sessions, we will come up with a working plan to begin to tackle what brings you to counseling. I consider and honor differences in how people think and feel. You will be comfortable and supported in whatever style suits you best during our sessions.
Counseling and consultation for:
Parents and families who may have concerns or need help connecting with their child/teen or young adult.
In a relationship with someone (partner, parent, colleague) who has a personality disorder? We can find ways to cope and set important boundaries.
New parents who are welcome to bring babies and toddlers to our sessions.
In an interfaith relationship? You may have questions about how to fit everything together. We can talk about how to create a culture of inclusion where you each feel honored and understood.
Counseling and consultation for therapists and coaches
As an individual, couple and family systems therapist, I specialize in transitions across the life cycle.
Why not make time for you? The services I offer are listed above to the right. Please contact me for your complimentary telephone consultation so we can talk about how I might be able to help you.
We can learn something new anytime we believe we can.”
